The St. Petersburg ensemble, founded in 1994, presents the variety of styles and expressions, colours and timbres, Russian folk instruments are capable of. The instrumentation is traditional: balalaika, domra (small lute), balalaika double bass and accordion. Together with two tenors they present a wide repertoire from Russian folk.
